Acer Liquid SnapDragon Chip Will Be Clocked At 768Mhz

Quick Update: Acer have just confirmed that the SnapDragon chipset in their upcoming Acer Liquid Android phone will be clocked at 768Mhz instead of the default 1Ghz.

Right now we're not sure why the Liquid has been clocked slower, hopefully we'll learn more shortly. Updates to follow!

  1. They clock it to a lower speed as this reduces power usage and heat output. Or at least they are the usual benefits of underclocking
