Nook Color

Barnes & Noble is set to release a new rendition of the successful “Nook” e-reader which will be in full color. Finally! I can read my G.I.Joe comics with justice…

Aside from that tidbit, the new “Nook Color” (rumored to be the actual name) will be running on Android OS, although we don’t have any info on which build it’ll be on (Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, etc).

The new Nook will have a 7 inch screen, and with the full color LCD, this should look great when displaying magazines, comics and talkandroid.com articles.

The new Nook Color should be priced around $250US, but i have to say, I’m not sure I’d pay that for this e-reader, seeing as you can get a 7 inch Samsung Galaxy tab (among many many others) for just a little more. Also, you can get their Android app installed on any Android device regardless.
