Taiwanese manufacturer HTC Corporation has announced the HTC Gratia, a version of the HTC Aria to be sold in Europe. One main difference between the Gratia and the Aria? The Gratia will come with Android 2.2 right out of the box. The Gratia is just one of many phones coming to Europe from HTC, such as the Desire Z and Desire HD. However, the Gratia will not have the newer version of the HTC Sense UI that will be available on the other aforementioned devices.
Like the Aria here in the States, the Gratia is a compact mid-range Android device with a 5-megapixel camera. The device will be available in forest green, pearl white, and charcoal black when it becomes available on European wireless carriers in November.
