Yesterday we had a report from a source in China indicating the HTC One Max may not have the fingerprint scanner we thought had been spotted in earlier leaked images. However, several new images out today from ePrice appear to definitely show a fingerprint scanner on the device. The unit pictured appears to be headed to China Unicom, so it could just be a variant for that particular market. The images also show the HTC One Max with a removable back cover and access to microSD and dual SIM slots.

Along with the fingerprint scanner and removable back, the images also reveal some wireless charging contacts. Sources also indicate the HTC One Max will be capable of shooting simultaneous video with both the front- and rear-facing cameras. We will have to see whether that is something unique to the HTC One Max or whether it is part of the new Sense 5.5 UI and thus available on other devices as they get updated.
