Samsung I5700 Galaxy Lite Video Footage

The guys over at ai.rs blog have managed to get their hands on Samsung's upcoming Android phone - the Samsung I5700 Galaxy Lite.

As the name suggests, the handset is a slimmed down version of the Samsung I7500 Galaxy, with the main differences being the I5700's 3.2 mega-pixel camera and 1GB of memory (the I7500 has a 5 mega-pixel camera and 8GB storage).

The Samsung I5700 does however still feature the large AMOLED touchscreen display of the I7500.

Here's a video of the Samsung I5700 Galaxy Lite in action.

The Samsung I5700 Galaxy Lite was approved by the FCC last month, but there's currently no word on pricing or availability for the handset as of yet.

  1. It’s green!!!

After that thought. How much less will this baby cost?
I can’t imagine a huge price drop next to the i7500, only by switching out the camera, the internal sd and an ugly color.

My guess is, that the screen makes up for most of the cost, no?

  2. Again… no backlight under the keyboard! Good job Shamesung… :-\
