
Motorola Droid users here in the States might be smacking their foreheads when they see the Motorola MT716. This new OPhone/Android device was recently launched in China, sporting what seems to be the same exact design of the Motorola Droid with the keyboard of a Motorola CLIQ.
The improved keyboard of this device paired with the impeccable design of the original Droid is what we all wanted way back in November 2009 when the Droid was first released.
Continue reading after the break to see the improved specs the Motorola MT716 has compared to its distant cousin.The Motorola MT716 is sporting an 8 megapixel camera (with dual-LED flash and 720p camcorder feature), an extra VGA front-facing camera, TD-SCDMA radio, WAPI connectivity (WiFi-compatible), and CMMB TV streaming.
However, you’ll still find the same sub-par 600MHz TI OMAP3430 chip, 480 x 854 LCD, AGPS and Bluetooth 2.1 inside.
