T-Mobile has G2 problems early

Reports are coming in that T-mobile customers who have recently purchased the new G2 have experienced some “issues” with loose hinges. Users have explained that holding the phone in certain positions will cause the screen to shut or hang open with no interaction. Granted most people aren’t using their phones upside down, but I can say that I’ve sent a few emails while laying down in bed. This would annoy me.

Another issue is that the amount of storage with some newly opened G2′s has been cut in half! The G2 was specified to contain 4GB of storage, but some have found only 2GB exist.

We hope T-Mobile and/or HTC have a look into this and tighten it up. It’s still an awesome phone, just needs a little love and attention.

Are you or anyone you know affected by these or any other G2 issues? If so, let us know in the comments.

I can no longer get 3g anymore. I am either on Edge Or Hspa. The HSPA net is so small now that im on Edge 80 percent of the time. Before I was on 3G 80 percent of the time. I went to Tmobile and they said i was not using the correct sim card. They copied my contacts to the “usable” sim car and still no 3g.

My Motorola S9 HD will not play music if I get a phone call. The music keeps playing on the handset but you can’t hear it unless you reconnect the device again. Very annoying.
