Handcent SMS update fixes Droid X 2.2 text message woes

Droid X users running Froyo have been suffering from texting woes in the form of mis-ordered messages in their inbox. Motorola has acknowledged the issue, stating that a software update is necessary to fix the problem.

Well, apparently the folks behind Handcent SMS have found a way to solve this issue, and have updated the app to version 3.3.0.  The updated version can be found in the Android Market, and if you’re a Droid X user running 2.2 and decide to install the updated Handcent, leave us a comment below and let us know if it truly solves the problem.
