Some Epic 4G users have been reporting slow 3G upload speeds, with some going so far as to say that Sprint has been intentionally capping their uploads. Whatever the case may be, Sprint is going to be rolling out an update for the 4G beginning tomorrow, September 30.
The news came via the official Sprint forums, and was reported by an administrator of that forum. From the post:
Good news – an update will be released tomorrow 9/30. It will be rolled out over a 4 day period so not everyone will get it on day 1.
I will have the standard MR information (fixes included, rollout schedule, etc) available tomorrow morning and will post it in a new featured thread.
So, Epic 4G users can breath a sigh of relief, as help is on the way! Stay tuned tomorrow for more information about this update.
