This is great news, Mike. It’s awesome that AT&T is expanding their LTE network into new cities so quickly. I travel all over the United States for my job at DISH, and I count on my phone for both business and entertainment. The faster my data speed, the faster I can get work done; faster data speed improves my entertainment experience as well. I use my DISH Anywhere app to keep up with my favorite teams while on the road; it streams live TV and DVR recordings to my phone, and the faster speeds means I get a better quality video stream for my games!

AT&T’s 4G LTE speeds in South Florida are absolutely awful. The speed is no faster than regular 4G. I did a test with 2 Galaxy Note II’s (AT&T vs. Verizon) and Verizon blew AT&T out of the water. AT&T never exceeds 3 mbps in South Florida while Verizon gets up to 12 mbps. If data speed is a concern, avoid AT&T like the plague.
