Zooppa and Samsung Team Up for Tab Ad Campaign

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab will be utilizing user-generated advertising from Zooppa. The media advertising community has several big name companies already using its services, some of which are Microsoft, Hershey, Nike, and Sony to name a few.

Zooppa and Samsung are asking their community members to incorporate the slogan “It’s Go Time!” into the campaign, where we will see banner ads, prints, and videos that will answer the question “If you had a Galaxy Tab, what creative things would you use it for?“.

The creative winner of the chosen ads will win $30,000 US. Imagine the Samsung tabs you could buy your friends with that!

SEATTLE, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ — Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) recently announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab™, the company’s first tablet device that runs on Android 2.2™, including full support for Adobe® Flash® Player 10.1. The Galaxy Tab is a powerful, sleek, must-have device, featuring plenty of features designed to allow you to realize the full possibilities of entertainment on-the-go. Consumers can experience PC-like web-browsing, enjoy all forms of multimedia content, connect on social network sites and interact via email and video calls, all on the perfectly sized 7-inch display. The Galaxy Tab will be available in the United States later this year with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless.

Zooppa, the world’s largest source of user-generated advertising, is pleased to announce their collaboration with Samsung Mobile, the Number 1 mobile phone provider in the US. Samsung Mobile is inviting the Zooppa creative community to work with the slogan “It’s Go Time!” and produce videos, print and banner ads that answer the question, “If you had a Galaxy Tab, what creative things would you use it for?” Creators of the ads will have the chance to win a total of US$30,000.

The Zooppa creative community can submit entries from October 1st, 2010 to November 19th, 2010. There are a number of prizes offered, including the Early Video Prize of $5,000 for video submissions received by October 30th 2010. Videos submitted for the early prize will also be eligible for the grand prizes at the end of the competition on November 19th, 2010. In order to get everyone involved and share in the creativity and excitement of the campaign, Samsung Mobile and Zooppa are offering an incentive to share video submissions: All those who share their favorite videos with five friends will be eligible for a$5,000 prize draw. The sharing prize will be open until December 17th, 2010.
