HTC Click – Entry Level Android Phone
Leaked images of a new HTC Android phone have surfaced online this week. The HTC Click is believed to be the first entry level Android handset with a rumored unlocked price of between $280 and $336.
Little is currently known about the HTC Click's features and release date, but at that proposed price for the handset we expect the phone to be offered free to customers on pay monthly contracts.

$280 unlocked is better, but it’s still very expensive. This type of unlocked Android device should be at the most $150 unlocked and with full support for VOIP and IM on a data-only SIM card plan instead of being forced to pay for Voice and SMS plans.

Agreed. And now that I have an Android phone with Google Voice running, I still have no easy way to make non-carrier VOIPs call without using my carrier minutes/SMS. Specifically, with T-Mobile in my case. Sort of disappointing, since my regular Linux Sykpe client does everything I’d want it to.
