San Francisco finally joins the 4G party

Well Orlando, FL got turned on yesterday and now the city by the bay get’s lit up in 4G goodness as well. I’m really not sure why it took so long for San Francisco (Home of the Love & Appiness event) to get 4G service considering how it’s a hub in the technology industry, but the wait was worth it.

Don’t believe me? Well check out these ridiculous screenshots from engadget showing 7mbps down and 1.2mbps upload speeds!

Not to shabby now is it? I’ll actually be in San Francisco tomorrow and the following day to check out the Open Feint headquarters and then attend the Love and Appiness event on the 23rd. So I’ll bring along my Epic 4G and do a little testing of my own.

But before I make it out there, if you’re rocking a 4G device like the HTC EVO or Sprint Epic 4G, let us know what kind of speeds you’re getting.
