Google’s Nexus 10 tablet has been a decent success, at least judging from how often it’s sold out in the Play Store. However, some reports are popping up that Google may be showing off a second generation of the high-res tablet with a beefed up processor to better handle that 2560×1600 resolution. The new CPU is rumored to jump from dual-core to quad-core, and an 8-core GPU to match that, in addition to the 2 GB of RAM already available.
Of course, we still have the question of when this new tab will be announced and when it will be available to consumers. With Mobile World Congress quickly creeping up on the calendar, we’re bound to see some pretty cool new tech, even after what we saw at CES. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Google join in on that excitement.
