With 2013 already upon us, Verizon isn’t shy in touting it’s 4G dominance by announcing its LTE network is now available in 473 markets that includes 273.5 million potential customers. While their network is available to about 89% of the US footprint, Verizon plans on providing the service on every US market by mid year. To my surprise, Verizon is also planning on making sure their LTE network will be available everywhere that their 3G network hits by the end of the year. An amazing accomplishment indeed if they are able to hit that goal.
Also, according to Verizon reps: “This year, the company also will continue to work with rural communications companies through LTE in Rural America, helping them to build and operate a 4G LTE network in their areas.”
Glad to see Verizon isn’t hitting the breaks on providing their customers with the best experience possible.
