Acer A1 Android Phone To Launch In September?

acer android phonesDigiTimes are today reporting a rumor that Acer are planning to launch their Android powered A1, handset as early as September of this year.

According to sources at a Taiwan handset component supplier, the Acer A1 will be joined by the Acer F1, a Windows Mobile 6.5 handset on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platform. Two other WinMo powered smartphones, the Acer C1/E1, and L1 are also planned for launch in Q4.

Just last month it was reported that Acer are aiming to launch 9 new smartphones in 2009, including their first Android powered smartphone in Q4.
