Google employee drops possible hint regarding timing of Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 release

Many of our readers will likely go to bed this evening with plans to wake up in the morning and place their order for a new Nexus 4 or Nexus 10 device from the Google Play Store. That is, if they don’t stay up late repeatedly refreshing the storefront with hopes that an ordering option lights up at midnight.

We already know Google plans to be able to start shipping the devices tomorrow as the orders start to roll in. The only question that remains is exactly when one will be able to place their order. German Google employee Stefan Keuchel took to his Google+ page earlier today to let his followers know that they did not need to stay up late or wake up early as the ordering option would not be available until later in the day. At first he indicated this would be in the afternoon, but that information has since been updated to indicate a morning release time. Google has not released an official statement regarding the timing of orders.

Will you be constantly checking the Google Play Store to place your order?

I’ll be setting my alarm for the top of every hour. I want to be one of the first to order it so I can get it soon. Definitely don’t want another Nexus 7 fiasco…
