Verizon has announced they will start pushing out an update for Motorola DROID BIONIC devices on October 19th. The update includes Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. Along with ICS and all the enhancements it will bring to users, Verizon is including some updates to apps like Amazon Kindle, GoToMeeting, Citrix Receiver, and their own My Verizon app. The update will remove the Mobile IM app and several stability and performance enhancements will be included. The update file will clock in at just over 368 MB in size. Users can try to initiate the update on their own by going to Settings -> About Phone -> System Updates -> Download or they can wait to receive notification from Verizon that the update is available.
