Pre-order for LG Optimus G from Sprint begins November 1, Available November 11

All of this LG talk lately will certainly make your head spin. From the plethora of leaks and information regarding the LG Nexus 4 to this bit of news regarding that beast of a device, the LG Optimus G. This time the good news comes courtesy of Sprint. Sprint customers will be able to pre-order the Optimus G on November 1st with a release on November 11th. This is excellent news seeing that it was just announced not even two weeks ago that the device would be coming to Sprint “in the coming months.” I suppose “the coming months” means “coming weeks.” You won’t see us complaining however. And who would complain with these montrous specs:

  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
  • 4.7-inch 1280 x 768 True HD IPS Display (with Zerogap Touch)
  • 1.5-GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor
  • 2,100mAh battery
  • 13 -megapixel rear-facing camera with a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera
  • 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0
  • 32GB internal memory
The LG Optimus G will be available for $199.99 with a new two-year service agreement or eligible upgrade in all Sprint channels. Sprint customers, what do you think? Have you been holding out for this device? Will you be picking it up day-one? Let us know your thoughts, and reservations if any.

At the time, he felt the cassette tape playing, Mega-Bass wielding, three-band equalizer piece of electronics was as good as it'll ever get. There was also the original Nintendo which consumed countless hours of his youth, followed by every follow-up version, a Sega Genesis, PlayStations, and Xboxes. He was a little late to the smartphone party however, not being exposed to one until running a jail-broken, 2nd Gen iPhone on T-Mobile’s network. His phone of choice now is the Galaxy Nexus.
