Archos 10 Tablet Hands-on at IFA 2010

The website MobileBurn.com posted a YouTube video today from their adventures at the IFA 2010 show last week. It is a video of an Archos employee demoing the Archos 10 Android Tablet. We’ve posted about this device before on TalkAndroid, but this is the first time we’re seeing this tablet in the flesh. Watch below to find out everything you need to know about this tablet:

My initial response is that it’s definitely a fantastic looking tablet. I am also very happy to hear that it will be sporting Android 2.2. However, is 10.1-inches a bit to big for your mobile tablet needs? You tell me, answer in the comments below.

    Well this is my favorite tablet after the IFA is over. After the shocking ridiculous price-tag of the Galaxy Tab, I looked around a bit, and I’m glad I did.

    10.1 inch is the size I want for a tablet. I see a tablet for home or events and meetings. I can’t see carrying such a device with me all the time. I have my Android phone for this.

    It looks very good and I’m excited to buy one of those babies.
    I’m also thinking about to get the 2.8 for a separate stand-alone Ogg/Flac player.

    Nope, I’m waiting for a good 10″ option from the iPad. Cus I want to replace my 10″ netbook with a 10″ webOS/Android Slate. 7″ isn’t big enough to WOW me.

    i love this tablet it’s the best one of IFA because it’s cheap and there is android 2,2, hdmi, usb, microSD, divx, mkv, capacitive screen and camera.

    I will buy the same version in 7″ because the 10″ is too big for me to travel around.

    I was going to buy the samsung tablet but when i see the offer and price i forget it immediately.

    I hope that android is going to send this device on time with android 2,2 and without bugs. i will wait the first review.

    You can easily insall the full Google Marketplace with Maps, Gmail and more by simply finding online the appropriate market4archos.apk that users in the Archosfans forum always find ways to post online. It’s a one click process. I am sur most Android apps even paid apps will work perfectly fine on all Archos tablets, just as 99% of android apps work fine on last years Archos 5 Internet Tablet with Android on Cortex A8 as well.

    I am so excited for the Archos 10 internet tablet. thank gawd i waited this long for a 10 inch capacitive screen–Android 2.2!

    Any latest news when exactly in mid-October? Why are they not doing pre-orders?

    I mean even the 7 looks nice. :-D So cooOOOool! Way 2 go, Archos.
