Ahead of HTC’s expected announcement of the HTC Hero Android Phone later today, it appears that details of the handset have already been published online at the official HTC.com website.

The HTC Hero product page has since been removed, but here’s some of the features that were confirmed for the handset.
- Qualcomm’s MSM7200A proc running Android at 528MHz
- 512MB/288MB ROM/RAM
- 3.2-inch TFT-LCD display with a 320 x 480 resolution
- 900/2100MHz HSPA and Quad-band GSM
- Trackball
- Internal GPS
- Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP support
- 802.11b/g WiFi
- 3.5mm Audio Jack
- 5 megapixel auto-focus camera
- microSD expansion
- G-sensor
The HTC Hero will be more focused towards user personalization, and according to the product information the Hero is noted as having a “full-featured mobile browser that displays Flash-based sites.”
