We first informed you about the soon-to-be-released Nikon S800, the first Android based camera from Nikon. Today, Nikon Rumors revealed the first pictures of the camera. From what has been posted, the camera will be a point and shoot with a 12x wide optical zoom and feature a 3.5″ OLED touchscreen. From the screenshot posted, it appears it will sport some variation of Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with app icons for camera, browser, email, music, and others.
An announcement on the upcoming Android shooter is expected Wednesday August 22nd, where it is rumored to be announced alongside the advanced point and shoot Coolpix P7700.
