A manual posted on Acer’s website sheds some light on yet another Ice Cream Sandwich phone coming out from the company best known for their notebooks and tablets. Acer is definitely hitting the ground running in the mobile phone market with this latest evidence, this after the announcement of their other two phones, the Cloudmobile and Liquid Glow. A quick glance through the manual reveals the following specs:
- Android 4.0
- 1GHz MediaTek MT6575 single-core processor
- 1 GB RAM
- 4GB internal, microSD card slot
- 4.3″ qHD display
- 5MP rear camera with LED Flash
- 1500mAh removable battery
- 9.9mm thin
Obviously not too much to write home about on the specs front but this offering would suffice for a lot of users out there save for the ones that must be on the cutting edge of phone tech. It would also fill the requisite mid-level slot for Acer handsets fitting in between the Cloudmobile and the Liquid Glow. Visually it’s not a bad looking phone. It’s definitely taking some visual queues from the Galaxy Nexus with not having the hard, capacitive buttons found on most devices these days. Also it appears to be running a stock version of Ice Cream Sandwich with the ice blue font in the status bar and icons on the desktop.
Obviously since this is just a manual, there is no talk of release date, markets, or pricing. However, given the specs, we can probably expect the price to come in the $225-$250 range, SIM free.
