Jelly Bean Update All Set To Be Rolled Out To Owners Of The Motorola Xoom WiFi

Good news for you Motorola Xoom WiFi owners in the U.S. If you recall, there was a certain soak test indicating a significant update was on the way for select Xoom WiFi owners. The update was then pushed out a few days ago to the lucky few and subsequently went off without a hitch. The soak testers were asked in a follow-up questionnaire if they felt the update was ready to be rolled out to the masses. Apparently it looks like most (if not all) of the testers felt the update was ready for the masses because reports are coming out that the Android 4.1.1 update is in the process of being rolled out.

Naturally if you’re a Xoom WiFi owner out here in the States, you’ll want to head on over to the Settings menu and check for that coveted system update. If you are a lucky son of a gun and get to download that buttery goodness, please do tell us how it works out for you.

I got mine 2 days ago, Honestly I don’t notice a huge performance difference. It is very much the same as Ice Cream Sandwich. Google Now is cool though.

I got it this weekend. I little disappointed that there was no face unlock. It’s gimmicky, I know, but still. Also, I don’t seem to have gotten any of the Jelly Bean wallpapers. Overall, no huge improvements in my opinion.
