We’ve been hearing about the DROID RAZR HD (XT926) for a while now, and to be honest I just want this puppy to get released already. Well it looks like we’re almost there as it passed through the FCC. This usually means we will see it sometime in the next 2 months. I’m expecting a September release, but that’s not from any information, just a hunch.
In case you’re not familiar with it, the DROID RAZR HD is expected to have a 720p HD screen with ColorBoost (similar to the Atrix HD), a 13MP rear camera, and the same 3300mAh battery that the DROID RAZR MAXX has. One other piece of information we were able to get from the FCC filing is that it will also support NFC, which let me say, “It’s about time Motorola.” Smart Actions and NFC tags will be a match made in heaven.
The real question is if this device is just too late to the party?
