According to sources, the Froyo (Android 2.2) update may be coming out for the DROID Incredible on September 1st. This would round out the DROID family up to that frosty Android version, sans the DROID X.
According to the insider sources, the update will include all the standards for DROIDs on Froyo, including 720p video, improved quality and more. We’re also being told that there will be an increase in DI commercials and sales pitches,as the sales department at Verizon has been notified of the upgrade plans.
Keep in mind that, for now, this is only a rumor, but if any confirmations one way or the other, we’ll let you know.
