Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 manual leaked

So we’ve just seen some new pictures of the 3-inch Android 1.6 Sony Ericsson Xperia X8, and now we can take a look at the manual. The FCC has leaked the quickie manual and long version, both available to download as PDFs on their website. With that being said could someone please explain this love affair between Sony and Android 1.6 for me please?

Before upgrading to Android (G1 and Nexus One – I’m a purist) I had Sony Ericsson P-Series phones and a major failing was SE’s unwillingness release updated software.
Whatever software it has when you buy it you’re probably going to be stuck with for quite some time.
