Motorola has announced the acquisition of 280 North, makers of the Cappuccino web framework, for $20 million dollars. The framework is notable for its ease of use, and the user experience is similar to the process of creating desktop apps for OSX. It seems as if Motorola is itching to develop more web applications for phones with webkit-based browsers, although no specifics of what Motorola is planning are available at this time.
