Verizon disappoints with first DROID 2 update by not fixing signal issues

Verizon, in true big-carrier fashion, has rolled out their first update to their Motorola DROID 2 phones via OTA. The major fixes (“major” being a bit of a stretch) include being able to scroll text and picture messages, but the huge disappointment here is that, according to reports, there haven’t been any resolutions to the signal issues that have been plaguing users since the initial launch.

How about our readers? Any of you DROID 2 owners with the update seen any improvements? Let us know in the comments!

I haven’t been prompted for it yet… kinda wanted to wait for it OTA, just for the excitement. Heh. Yeah, I’m a dork.
