T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S Blaze Q Passes Through the FCC

Earlier this week we reported that the T-Mobile Galaxy S Blaze Q will land in T-Mobile stores on August 15th. It just so happens that it recently passed through the FCC sporting T-Mobile’s mobile network, packing AWS, GPRS 850 and 1900 radio bands. This is rumored to be a slide-out QWERTY-style phone and is expected to sport a 1.5 GHz dual-core S4 Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, a 720p (1280 x 720) display, and Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Ridiculous name aside, the specs on this alone does make it by far the most powerful physical slide-out QWERTY phone that’s ever been made. Are there any of you that are still fans of physical slide-out QWERTY phones? If so, will you be able to put aside the funky name and pick this up?

I see they’re competing with HTC in trying to fit as many stupid letters into the name.

Haha, true that. Although I think this isn’t as bad as the “Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch.” O_o
