HTC Hero & HTC Lancaster To Be Announced On June 24th?
HTC’s upcoming London event scheduled for June 24th is widely believed to include an announcement for their HTC Hero Android smartphone. But according to the Economic Daily News, the handset will be available in two versions.
The HTC Hero will be available in two versions, with and without a QWERTY keyboard. The model with a keyboard will be named HTC Memphis, or HTC Lancaster for sale by AT&T exclusively in the US for six months starting the third quarter, the paper indicated.
The HTC Lancaster was first discovered back in May, thanks to a number of leaked AT&T slides.

The HTC Lancaster will feature a 3 mega-pixel fixed-focus camera, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, and microSD memory expansion.
Both The HTC Hero and the HTC Lancaster will include HTC’s in-house developed TouchFLO 3D user interface (known as ‘Rosie’).
