HTC Legend discontinued by Bell

Bell, a large Canadian communications company, has discontinued sales of the HTC Legend. Citing “supply constraints” as the reason for pulling the device the discontinuation has been made effective immediately. The Legend has a 3.2-inch screen, a 600 MHz processor, a 5 megapixel camera, and comes running Android 2.1. While the camera does have a nice looking design I don’t believe a phone with these relatively low specs will be missed for long.

it’s actually believed that the “supply constraints” being referred to are AMOLED supply constraints, which are widely known to be a problem at the moment.
