Smartphone boom it is. A little over a week ago we reported that the Dell Thunder was spotted in the wild with a list of specs to go with it. The Dell Thunder has a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, 8 MP camera with flash, 802.11n, and a 1400 mAh battery. The Thunder will come loaded with Android 2.1 with no Froyo tweaks to be found.

The Thunder happens to grab attention with its unique design of a curvy screen. According to Engadget, the curvy screen is “awesome” but the underlying LCD screen makes for off-angle views to be distorted.
