The Eee PC is based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon platform using the 1GHz chipset. Due to the very low power consumption of the Snapdragon no cooling is required from the hardware, and as a result the hardware is actually fanless.

The Asus Eee PC is capable of playing back 720p video with the current generation chips, and in the future is pexted to support 1080p with the faster clock processors.
