Remember that Galaxy S GPS issue we’ve been telling you about? Well, it looks like T-Mobile has been following it pretty closely as well, and has issued a statement to sales reps announcing that a fix is coming soon. It’s worth noting that T-Mobile is choosing not to reference the September date announced by Samsung a few days ago, but rather to say ‘coming soon’ instead. This is probably to ensure that there’s a bit of wiggle room in case the fix is miraculously ready in August, or in case it doesn’t arrive until October.
It will be interesting to see if the other Galaxy S carriers will issue similar statements, as this has been a pretty major thorn in the Galaxy S’ side. We will be following this one pretty closely, and will bring you the latest as it becomes available.
