Spotify For Android Mobile Client Revealed
The popular free music streaming service Spotify have unveiled a mobile client during the Google I/O conference that is taking place this week.
Demonstrated on a T-Mobile G1 , the Spotify for Android mobile client will enable users to synchronize tracks with their handsets for easy offline playback. This means that even without a Wi-Fi or data connection music can still be played back.
Other features of the Spotify Android app include the ability to perform on-device searches, and create custom playlists thanks to easy access to the huge Spotify music library.
The mobile client will also sync seamlessly with the Spotify desktop client allowing users to search and add tracks on their desktop app for syncing with the mobile client.
Spotify are however keen to stress that the mobile client is very much a demo at this moment, and that there is currently no known release date for when we can expect this app to appear.
