BEIJING – June 3, 2012 – You’re going places, and you’re going fast. You need a smartphone that will be by your side whenever you need it, and look and feel good in any situation. Good news: now you have two to choose from! Motorola Mobility and China Mobile are proud to introduce the latest members of the RAZR™ family, Motorola RAZR V MT887 and MOTOLUXE™ MT680. Motorola RAZR V MT887 is beautiful Android™ 4.0-powered smartphone that wraps a vibrant 4.3-inch screen in a surprisingly svelte water-splash guard body and a range of gorgeous colors, all at a price that’s almost too good to believe. MOTOLUXE MT680 is a stylish, compact smartphone with an eye-catching asymmetric look that stands out from the crowd. With iconic styling and mind-blowing thinness, both of these fashionable smartphones were made with you and your budget in mind.

People across the country will have the opportunity to experience this double dose of high style and high technology as the Motorola RAZR V MT887 and MOTOLUXE MT680 tour China. The trip will kick off on June 3rd in Beijing with fashion maven Perry Liu on-site to share his perspectives on style, design and functionality. Liu and Motorola Mobility’s collaboration won’t end when the curtains fall, however. Be on the lookout for a Perry Liu-designed back cover for MOTOLUXE MT680 in the months ahead. It doesn’t get more fashionable than that.

“With Motorola RAZR V MT887 and MOTOLUXE MT680, we’ve created the perfect pair of smartphones for stylish, smart and tech-savvy consumers who want great looks, great performance and great value,” said Frank Meng, Senior Vice President and President of Greater China, Motorola Mobility. “We are committed to creating devices that are beautiful and powerful, but also affordable. The new Motorola RAZR V MT887 and MOTOLUXE MT680 embody that commitment perfectly.”

“China Mobile and Motorola are very strong partners with similar views for the future of mobile life,” said Jingxin Ma, Deputy General Manager, China Mobile Group Terminal Company. “These two slim beauties are great additions to Motorola’s TD-SCDMA device portfolio. They demonstrate Motorola’s commitment to the development of the industry’s best TD-SCDMA devices. We look forward to a long and prosperous future with Motorola.”

An amazing 8.35mm thin with a glorious 4.3-inch screen, the Motorola RAZR V MT887 makes iconic RAZR family styling and quality available to everyone. KEVLAR fiber, a narrow border design and a comfortable, soft-touch rim mean that this big-screen beauty is surprisingly compact and light, and feels great even in smaller hands. With black, white and shocking pink options, you can choose the color that reflects your own personality and style. And while Motorola RAZR V MT887 comes with a surprisingly affordable price, it gives away nothing in performance, thanks to a dual-core 1.2GHz processor and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
