A new phone will be soon be hitting the market with Android 2.2 already installed.  The Huawei Ideos (U8150-B) is now making the rounds at the Global Certification Forum, as well as the FCC.  It’s not exactly the kind of high-end device you would expect to be shipping with 2.2, with the specs including 512MB of ROM, 256MB of RAM, a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, WiFi, GPS, and a 3.2-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash.  The device is expected to launch in Britain initially for roughly 170 British pounds, with other countries and a possible US launch to follow.
