Awhile back, O2 UK mentioned that it planned on releasing an update for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. Now, it seems that they’re making good on that promise. The newest software release, R2BA026 (several iterations farther along than initially thought), is said to improve battery life. Users say this claim is true, and are also reporting that overall performance it better and snappier, especially in TimeScape and MediaScape. But, watch out, there are also reports of a wifi bug in the update.
The latest update from O2 UK is by Sony Ericsson Update Service only, so no OTA love for now.
