So I have it on good authority that o2 UK Desires will get there eagerly awaited froyo update in the next 6-8 weeks. Flash 10.1, 720p video recording and wireless hotspot arejust some of the new features you can expect. The update is in the advanced stages and should be let loose within the 8 week time frame.

My source at HTC also suggested  that the September the 15th press event recently announced could well be the launch of the rumoured Desire HD. With the smokey invitations hinting at a new handset, it should be an exciting event with another high end android device on the way.
