We love the mobile hotspot feature on our phones, but battery draining is an issue when pairing it with your laptop. Audi is introducing a new feature that will relieve your worries with an integrated car phone/mobile hotspot. Using a SIM card for the car’s cellular feature, you can piggy back your wireless devices using the built in 3G from the car. No word on pricing yet but we all know how expensive an Audi is so be prepared to pay

Marvell has said the technology is “optimized for extremely low power consumption on battery-powered consumer electronics, enabling passengers to connect to the vehicle’s network without affecting the battery life of their connected devices.”
