AT&T and Samsung have teamed up in Minneapolis, Minnesota to hold a scavenger hunt. The grand prize? A home theater system worth $10,000. The event is a marketing ploy to hype up the Samsung Captivate, and will be held on August 21st, 2010 at 11 AM. The event will begin at Peavy Plaza, with a sushi after party at 2 PM. according to the official registration page:
Participants will be given a Samsung Captivate by AT&T (or they may use their own phone) to play SCVNGR. Teams will be running and biking safetly all over Minneapolis doing challenges and earning points. You’ll want to move fast because the team with the most points at the end of the trek will go home with the grand prize!
