Android marketshare growing worldwide

Android just keeps moving up the ladder. A recent report by Gartner shows that Android is now accountable for 17.2% of the 2010 smartphone marketshare, beating out Apple, who is accountable for 14.2. Android is definitely growing in size, and there is no end in sight to the progress of Google’s OS. Another study by IDC Worldwide shows that HTC and Samsung’s marketshares are growing in size, thanks to – you guessed it – Android. Charts after the break.
