US Android Cupcake Update Coming May 11th
I'm sure you guys are just as fed up with reading about the Cupcake update as i am writing about it. But at long last it seems that for US T-Mobile G1 owners the long wait for the Android 1.5 update might just be about over.
BoyGeniusReport.com have managed to get their hands on some very official looking documentation that explains what the android update is exactly and reveals that the update will begin it's official roll out to G1 owners during the week of May 11th.
The update rollout will take place in phases therefore not everyone will receive it at the same time, but atleast it's good to finally hear some T-Mobile confirmation on the matter.

It’s strange. I have a german g1, and I got the update yesterday morning OTA. It was funny, because after the update the language was set to german. I taken some time to restore english menus…
