It looks like Rogers will be getting a couple of mid-range Android phones to add to its lineup soon.
Stores have apparently been getting dummy phones of the LG Gt540 and the LG Neon 2, an obvious successor to the Neon being currently sold. The Neon 2, like the Neon, has a slide out Qwerty, while the GT540 is in the increasingly popular “slab” construct. There’s no specifics on hardware on either device, but there’s nothing spectacular there. While there’s no official pricing on either handset, MobileSyrup is hypothesizing a $29.99 price-tag with a 3-year contract.
Any of you Rogers users out there planning on getting one of these, or are you holding out for something a bit meatier?
