Verizon is now accepting pre-orders for the Motorola Droid 2, which officially launches this Thursday. The device can be ordered for $199.99 after online rebate and a new 2 year contract, and for the full retail price of $559.99. Judging from past launch events like the Droid X, lines will be long and stores will sell out rather quickly. The Motorola Droid 2 features a 1 Ghz processor, 512 MB of RAM, 5MP camera, 3.7 inch screen, a full QWERTY keyboard, and best of all, ships with Android 2.2. To check it out for yourself, and get in on the pre-order action, hit up the source link below. Also, check back tomorrow for more Droid 2 launch day news, and likely some pictures of people standing in line. Will you be one of them?
