It is finally here. After all the buzz about Verizon’s Motorola Droid 2, the time has finally come for sale to begin. For $199.99 you will have in your hands, a new Motorola Droid 2, which improves on the downfalls of the original Droid design. Packing the frosty new Android 2.2 OS (FroYo), a redesigned full QWERTY keyboard, 8GB of internal memory, 8GB on microSD, 3.7-inch 480×854 WVGA display, and a 5MP camera, VZW customers will have no problems awing at their new toy.
VZW has chosen not to take away the 3G WiFi hotspot capabilities like they did with the original Droid. Instead, they decided to include a $20/month option for 3G WiFi hotspot, which will share your 3G internet connection with up to 5 devices. In-store availability is said to arrive next month.
Who is planning to buy the Droid 2? Let me know what you think in the comments!
